Ashe only hoped they were right, that she - the sands, the sun, the cool oasis, and the dangerous wildlife - could be what they expected. She hoped she could really save them.
• Penelo could smile and pretend while the sun was shining on her face and sweat was dripping down her body; but when the stars came out and Vaan sat moodily in the corner of their alley, she couldn't ignore the crushing despair she felt or the growl in her belly.

Aww... I love writing about the people of Dalmasca during the occupation. It is awesome! I need to write more of it.

I always thought that XII lent itself well to fan fiction -- there's just so much there, if you're willing to go around the game and explore it. It had something that XIII lacked, in a way, and I've not really been able to find something similar with VIII.

Anyways, excellent lines!

There is! I was so disappointed that in XIII the only cool stuff to find involved killing a bunch of stuff. There were no NPC's that you could interact with. That's what made othe theme of the being alone so real, but I like to... you know... have cool interaction. Once it reached pulse I was just like YAWN!!!! Chapter 11 OKAY! Wait... I only have two more... THAT SUCKS!!!! NOTHING HAS HAPPENED SO FAR!!!! GRAHAHKLFNDSKLFJIJEMNVDN!!!

Versus 12 which, just like you said, had so much. It was a journey, not a three week long battle, cause thats how long ot felt that 13 went.

Yeah, but it felt like they were on Cocoon for like... 3 days? Tops? So a little over a month... that's how long they had to live... They'd probably had longer if Lightning didn't stress them out all of the time.

Well, and if Pulse wasn't so damn dangerous, and if Snow's cooking was better, and if Hope didn't keep having asthma attacks, and if Vanille didn't keep bringing home every damn animal she came across, and if Fang, you know, did her share of the camp chores, and if Sazh didn't cry himself to sleep every fuckin' night.

lol! If Snow could convince Sazh (Who is dad so obviously has learned a thing or two in the kitchen) to cook, or if Lightning didn't freak Hope out so much that he panics, or if the fact that Vanille would stop running off, or if Fang didn't molest Vanille every second of the day. Yeah.

And if Fang and Vanille were so damn loud, and everyone else really sexually frustrated, and maybe if they could just take a fuckin' hot shower for once, and maybe if Snow didn't talk in those damn platitudes, and maybe if he had more than two manic-depressive attitudes, and maybe if Hope could, I don't know, actually lift more than fifteen pounds, and maybe if Sazh... well, let's face it, Sazh is the one sane man in the room.
